Anyone wanna buy a car?

So, a little update on my poor car. Almost word for word for the lady at the repair shop: "Yadda yadda, hole in the undercarriage ... yadda yadda ... water in the hydraulics system ... yadda yadda ... cold temperatures = water freezing ... yadda yadda ... $775 --"

Holy.

Shit.


And that's what they think the problem is.

In better news, borrowed a car from a friend for weekend pet sitting. Planned on ridesharing up to the mountains for skiing to take my mind off it all, but guess what liz the dummy did?

If you guessed that she left her skis, boots, poles and winter parka in her car that got towed in and is not locked up over the weekend, you win a cookie.

Isn't it awful! I even drove by the shop to see if they left the car outside so I could use my spare key to grab my gear, but no such luck. And today would have been such a great skiing day!

You feel my pain! Does that mean you're a skier? If so, I'm going to highjack you to hit some slopes with me if/when my car comes home happy 'n' healthy. You've been warned. ;)

Yup. I was up at Stevens today, which is why I asked if you could get your skis. I would have given you a lift (assuming you ski there)! The snow was lovely today.

I'm learning to dig it! I went up after a couple half work days this month and it was awesome - so much emptier than the weekends. But with class at night and long work days, I can't always swing it. :( But any kind of skiing and I tend to get along. (Except rainy skiing. Cuz that kind sucks).

I know, right! It was so hectic trying to arrange the tow while I was at work and we were super short staffed, I didn't get a chance to get anything out. My cell phone's in it too. (surprise surprise). I miss my sweet skiing babies ... :(
